Tubus Swing Rack Facts . . .
The Tubus Swing allows the attachment of panniers to a bike with a suspension fork. It mounts to the fork crown and headset. This allows the fork to work independently from the load. If you attach a rack to your lower suspension fork tubes or front axle, the weight of loaded panniers may interfere with the operation of the fork, and cause abnormal wear on the fork bushings. The weight of the panniers will pull on the lower tubes when you go over bumps. The Swing eliminates this problem. Racks and packs mounted to the lower tubes may also void your suspension fork warranty.
The Swing does not fit all suspension forks. I'd suggest we have a conversation about your fork before you place your order.
The Swing is made from tubular chromoly steel.
The top rails have 10mm diameter tubes.
The weight is 789 grams (27.5 ounces).
The Swing will work on suspension forks for 26 inch or 700C wheels.
