• The Ortlieb Ultimate 5 Plus Medium Handlebar Bag is Ortlieb's premium waterproof handlebar bag!
• Ortlieb Ultimate 5 Plus Medium Dimensions:  Height = 9.4 inches.  Width = 9.8 inches.  Forward Depth = 7.1 inches.  Volume = 427 cubic inches.  Weight = 24 ounces.
• Size Large Dimensions:  Height = 9.4 inches.  Width = 9.8 inches.  Forward Depth = 9.4 inches.  Volume = 549 cubic inches.  Weight = 25 ounces.  Fully loaded tourists may appreciate a bit more room.  The Large is about 28% larger than the medium.
• Ultimate 5 Plus Color Options . . . RED, BLACK, BLUE, GRAPHITE, and NEW for 2007, YELLOW!  Size LARGE is only available in BLACK.
• The LOCKING Quick Release Mounting Bracket holds the back of the bag 2 inches from the handlebars.  The optional Mounting Bracket Extender adds an additional 1 3/4 inches between the handlebar and bag.

• INCLUDED ACCESSORIES:  a locking mounting bracket, an "Internal X-divider," providing internal compartments for organizing your gear, 2 small outside mesh pockets, an integrated inner pocket for organizing your small items, a 3M Scotchlite reflector patch on the front of the bag, and an integrated shoulder strap.   The Ultimate 5 Plus is definitely my favorite Ortlieb handlebar bag!
• OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES include an extra large fold-out Waterproof Map Case (pictured above), GPS Case, padded Camera Insert, and a Handlebar Bag Mounting Bracket Extender to hold the back even farther from the handlebars on unusual shaped handlebars, or to accommodate wide reaching brake levers.  You can also get an Extra Mounting Bracket, so you can use your bag on more than one bicycle.
• I would never go on a long distance tour without my handlebar pack!  It is where I keep items I would like to access quickly and easily without having to get off of my bike - items such as my camera, energy snacks, tissues, keys, wallet, money, ID, passport, a map in the top window, etc. . . and I also use it for a waste basket.  When I ride up a mountain pass, I often find myself so focused on the ride that I don't want to stop for photos.  With a camera living in my handlebar pack it is easier to talk myself into pulling off the road for a quick photo opportunity - without having to dismount the bike.  I can just step down, straddle the top tube, take a quick photo and be back in the saddle in seconds - so I don't mess up the rhythm of my climb.  And later, I don't regret missing the photo.  If I need to take a restaurant or restroom break, the handlebar bag comes off the quick-release bracket, and STAYS WITH ME on the shoulder strap, so I don't risk having such critically important items stolen.  If you have not used a handlebar pack on your tours, you just don't know what you have been missing!

• The Ortlieb Ultimate 5 Classic Medium Handlebar Bag is Ortlieb's standard waterproof handlebar Pack.
• The Ortlieb Ultimate 5 Classic Medium has the same dimensions as the Ultimate 5 Plus Above:  Height = 9.4 inches.  Width = 9.8 inches.  Forward Depth = 7.1 inches.  Volume = 427 cubic inches.  Weight = 23 ounces.  This pack is large enough for all but the most heavily loaded tourists.

MANY people call an hour early, and sound surprised when I don't answer, so I have I decided to include this info!  Eastern Time is two hours ahead of Mountain Time.  Central Time is one hour ahead of Mountain Time.  Pacific Time is one hour behind Mountain Time.  Examples . . . 11:00 AM in NY = 9 AM, Mountain Time in Colorado.  10:00 AM in Chicago, IL = 9:00 AM in Colorado.  In California, 8:00 AM = 9:00 AM in Colorado.
