• Ortlieb Classic panniers are made from a very durable polyester fabric with an inner, highly durable, thermoplastic waterproof coating.  This fabric has been the standard in waterproofing for many years.
• All seams are high frequency welded, providing excellent waterproofing along with narrow manufacturing tolerances.  You will be impressed by the high quality workmanship!
• Even fully loaded, the Sport Packer Classic can be securely closed with a waterproof and dustproof lid, providing extra protection against the elements.  A drawstring closure on the dust flap, beneath the lid, keeps dust and moisture out.
• Ortlieb Sport Packer Classic features include vertical compression straps, lid closure, shoulder straps, scuff guards on the bottom of the packs, dustproof drawstring closures, highly reflective patch on front and back.
• If Ortlieb Packer Plus series panniers are simply out of your budget, then the Ortlieb Classic series panniers are the way to go.  You can spend less, and still have top quality panniers that will stand up to many years of serious bicycle touring!

• The Classic series utilizes the QL1 Quick Lock mounting system with adaptable hooks, that will fit 8mm, 10mm and 16mm top rails.  The Quick Lock hooks open automatically by pulling up on the pannier handles. Adjustable hooks at the base of the panniers keep the bottom mounted securely to the side of the rack.  The sliding top hooks can be repositioned to allow precise placement on the rack top rails.  This can also help move the panniers toward the back of your rear rack, providing better heel clearance while riding.
