• Ortlieb Front Roller Classic waterproof panniers are terrific expedition quality front panniers.
• They also work great as smaller capacity rear panniers.
• Ortlieb Front Roller Classic Dimensions:  Height = 11.8 inches.  Width = 9.8 inches.  Depth = 5.5 inches.  Volume = 1526 cubic inches/pair (25 Liters).  Weight = 47.3 ounces/pair.  Add a pair of Optional Size Small Outer Pockets (220 cubic inches per pair - 3.6 Liters), and increase your pair of Front Roller Classic panniers to 1746 cubic inches!
• Each pannier has an internal pocket hanging from the inside of the back panel -- nice!
• Ortlieb Classic panniers are made from a very durable polyester fabric with an inner, highly durable, thermoplastic waterproof coating.  This fabric has been the standard in waterproofing for many years.
• The Front Roller Classic has a rolled "dry-bag" type closure that makes the bag completely waterproof!  The strap and buckles that close the system double as shoulder straps for carrying the packs.
• Ortlieb Front Roller Classic panniers may even keep your gear dry during stream crossings when properly closed (the level of waterproofing depends on how many times you roll the top).  So these may be your best choice for off-road mountain bike tours!  If you are touring in the tropics in the rainy season, these are the panniers you want!
• All seams are high frequency welded, providing excellent waterproofing along with narrow manufacturing tolerances.  You will be impressed by the high quality workmanship!
• Front Roller Classic panniers are easy to clean, and have a highly reflective 3M Scotchlite patch on the front and back of each pack.
• If Ortlieb Packer Plus series panniers are simply out of your budget, then the Ortlieb Classic series panniers are the way to go.  You can spend less, and still have top quality panniers that will stand up to many years of serious bicycle touring!

• The Classic series utilizes the QL1 Quick Lock mounting system with adaptable hooks, that will fit 8mm, 10mm and 16mm top rails.  The Quick Lock hooks open automatically by pulling up on the pannier handles. Adjustable hooks at the base of the panniers keep the bottom mounted securely to the side of the rack.  The sliding top hooks can be repositioned to allow precise placement on the rack top rails.  This can also help move the panniers toward the back of your rear rack, providing better heel clearance while riding.

MANY people call an hour early, and sound surprised when I don't answer, so I have I decided to include this info!  Eastern Time is two hours ahead of Mountain Time.  Central Time is one hour ahead of Mountain Time.  Pacific Time is one hour behind Mountain Time.  Examples . . . 11:00 AM in NY = 9 AM, Mountain Time in Colorado.  10:00 AM in Chicago, IL = 9:00 AM in Colorado.  In California, 8:00 AM = 9:00 AM in Colorado.
