• What is the difference between the 2008 and the new 2009 Sport Packer PLUS panniers?  The 09 Sport Packers have reshaped lids and front panels to better match their appearance to the Ultimate 5 Plus Handlebar Bags, Scuff Guards added to the bottom of the packs, and a removable shoulder strap added to each pannier.  Both the 08 and 09 panniers are rated at the same 30 liters capacity (1800 cubic inches).  The 08 models DO have outside mesh pockets that are not on the new 2009 panniers.  Both versions use the same fabric and mounting system.  This was my most popular and top-of-the-line front pannier in 2008!  It also works great as a smaller volume front pannier.  If you think this is the right volume for your needs, you can't go wrong with these panniers.
